Dt. Uğur Ağar was born in Antakya. After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry, he completed his specialty training at Cumhuriyet University and served as an Assistant Professor at GATA in Istanbul and at Erciyes University.
He is a member of the Antalya Chamber of Dentists (Turkish Dental Association) and the Turkish Orthodontic Society, and has 3 scientific publications in Turkish journals and 5 in international journals. His articles cover topics such as changes in the angle and position of the mandibular third molar after unilateral extraction of the mandibular first molar, the role of psychosocial factors in headgear compliance, and the effect of the timing of rapid maxillary expansion on nasal airway changes.
In addition to general dentistry, he provides aesthetic dentistry, smile design and orthodontics. His orthodontic work includes braces, clear aligner (Invisalign) treatment and the treatment of jaw disorders.
He has attended many congresses and seminars and received numerous professional certificates between 1998 and 2019. At Antlara Dental Clinic, Dt. Uğur Ağar focuses mainly on orthodontic treatment.
